(Raise the bed, open the window, let the sun go. Rest assured, God did not forget their tears. Do not forget the pillow wet, muffled cries. Therefore, It comes with the joy in the morning, comes to change, transform. Open your heart to Him, and nothing will ever be.)

Seeds are a funny thing. They go into the ground, and somewhere inside the seed is everything it needs to grow into whatever plant it was created to become.
I think our lives are a lot like that. Somewhere in each of us, God has buried a father…a mother…a teacher….a musician….a world-changer.
That’s why so much wealth is buried in cemeteries. Because for some reason, people never allow themselves to grow into the person God created them to be. In the ground are so many songs that were never written, companies that were never started, sermons that were never preached….
When God told Adam in the garden of Eden to “work” in the Hebrew, that word literally means “become”. Inside of Adam was the entirety of the human race, waiting to come out. God told Adam to “become” what he was intended to be and He says the same thing to all of us— “become”…
And that’s what the Holy Spirit is here for. To help us ALL become. Because until we do, we are just a seed, and will never feel fulfilled. We will never feel satisfied. We will always be looking for something else, something bigger and better, something to make us happy. But what we really want is to become the person we were created to be. To germinate.
